Sprouting Spring Onions

These last couple weeks I've been experimenting with sprouting spring onions. It is SO EASY! You simply save the bulbs of the spring onions while your preparing them, preserving just a little bit a green above the white.
Soak them in a cup of water to help revive them.

Plant them in a pot in a sunny spot and water once a day.

 This is after 10 days.

I've already planted another round and I'm allowing the first set to regrow after I clipped off the tops once for stir-fry. They are so fresh and delicious!
